Mary Ann Gilfillan, known as @alteredlifephotography, is an award-winning nature photographer based in Citrus County, Florida, after recently relocating from East Tennessee.

Her work reflects a deep appreciation for the natural world, with a special focus on the delicate beauty found in gardens. From vibrant flowers to butterflies in motion and the quiet presence of bees, her images invite viewers to pause, look closer, and appreciate the life around them.
